Is it a joke? I just bought this game and expected something better than Deer Hunter 10 years ago or hunting on my android smartphone… Poor graphic, not realistic moves of animals, strange menu… Sorry, I cannot recommend it. I wish I could give it back…

(Gameplay and Overview: https://youtu.be/rPlzT-1dJzY ) Deer Hunter: Reloaded is very similar to the phone game that has been out for a couple of years, the main difference being that they added a bit more mobility and took out the wackiness that helped make the title as popular as it was on phones. The game looks like it came from the early 2000’s with terrible animations, abysmal draw distance, and graphics that seem like someones bad idea of a joke. The biggest issue here is the same one that a lot of hunting games fall into, and that’s the identity crisis of whether or not they are simulation or arcade. Had this game gone all out ridiculous I may have enjoyed it, but it’s constant desire to strive for legitimacy as a "real" hunting title ultimately leave it feeling boring, redundant, disingenuous and mainly just laughable. The price point is the biggest offender, with this 5 dollar title offering a terrible return on investment. Ultimately this game will leave you hunting for a better one and for arcade I recommend Big Buck Hunter Arcade (not great but captures more of the arcade feel) and for simulator go for TheHunter Call of the Wild.

This is a blatant port of a mobile game that happens to be a first person shooter which requires a controller, feels atrocious to play, and is just painful to look at and listen to. You’d have more fun hunting a half-dollar coin out of a haystack of used syringes.

I’m a HUGE fan of the Deer Hunter franchise. I’ve been playing since about 2003. This game feels very much different from the games of its past. I wish I could say I enjoyed the 10 minutes I played, but it was frustrating and really turned me off.

The controls are the BIGGEST issue with this game. The game was clearly made to be played with a controller, but can be played with a keyboard and mouse. Selecting menus can be very annoying as not all mouse-clicks register. It just feels very difficult to navigate menus and do simple tasks.

PROS:
+Arcade Fun
+Shooting feels nice
+Voice acting
+Progression
+Price is super fair IMO

MEH:
=The graphics are outdated, but I didn’t play this game because I wanted it to be beautiful

CONS:
-The UI is pretty bad. Its cluttered, and was clearly not built with PC players in mind

I have not played enough of this game to give a complete review. I will update the review when the developers update their game. Right now it just feels like a mess, and I’m seriously glad I didn’t pay more for it. I REALLY WISH this game felt like Deer Hunter 2005. That game was PERFECT.

Very bad game. Wish deer hunting games where good like they used to be. The maps are very limited, you have to stay on the path. It is not fun. I would like to be able to walk around. You can tell the game was designed to be used with a controller and not a key board and mouse. It is very clunky to use the user interface. I feel they missed the hunting game play and messed up the menus. Wish I would have saved my money.

I played this for 8 minutes mind you.
This is so low effort. When you start the game the game thinks you play on console. It says when it saves that you shouldn´t turn your console. You will get also console prompts despite I don´t have plugged controller. And the game feels laggy and it will make you sick, considering the basic graphic. Not to mention the elephant in the room. Depending on you condition, this game is capped at 30 FPS.

I reported this fake game to Steam.
